UGC Approved 57 Universities to Offer Online Degree Courses

 

For online education, the universities need approval from University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as from Distance Education Bureau (DEB). Without the approval of UGC-DEB, the degrees offered by any college will be invalid. This is what recently happened with Annamalai University and Periyar University which continued to offer online education without the UGC-DEB approval. UGC has taken strict measures against the university.
